After I leaving a career in graphic design and moving from  the New York metro area to Charleston,  South Carolina, I started teaching my first classes at Redux Contemporary Art Center as a way to share my love and knowledge of  painting with my new community. From that first experience my passion for education has  expanded to teaching students of all ages, creating arts integrated curriculum for the Charleston county school district, and becoming a certified SC state educator. I love being able to expand my own learning through teaching a variety of techniques to my students  with a special interest in  repurposed waste, and natural mediums.
